Clomifen Citrate 50 mg Anfarm Hellas: description and dosage
Clomifen Citrate 50 mg Anfarm Hellas is a medicine for anabolic steroid cure as well as for post-cycle therapy. The active ingredient is clomiphene. It is an oestrogen receptor blocker.
Positive effects of Clomifen Citrate 50 mg Anfarm Hellas
Steroids like testosterone and its derivatives are prone to aromatization, i.e. conversion to oestrogen. For athletes this is bad because excess oestrogen causes:
- gynecomastia;
- bloating;
- suppression of testosterone production.
Clomifen Citrate 50 mg Anfarm Hellas, in turn, eliminates these side effects. It stimulates endogenous testosterone production, which is why it is used as part of post-cycle therapy. The process of restoring hormonal balance becomes much faster thanks to the drug, because without its use it takes more than a year. In addition, low testosterone levels can lead to muscle atrophy, decreased libido and erection problems.
Gynecomastia is a phenomenon when a man begins to develop breasts. This is an undesirable effect, as it deprives the athletic figure of harmony. Water retention masks the relief, so athletes need diuretics or anti-oestrogens such as Clomid.
Possible negative effects
Generally, taking clomiphene does not cause side effects. But large doses and individual sensitivity can still cause them. The main ones are:
- headache
- nausea;
- hot flushes;
- rashes.
Vision problems may also occur. This is manifested by blurriness, blurred vision. As a rule, after stopping the drug, the problem disappears. In addition, anti-oestrogens can reduce bone density if taken in high doses or for too long.
Rules of intake
Depending on whether the athlete is still taking steroids or has already started post-cycle therapy, taking 50 mg clomiphene citrate is different. During the course of steroids, the following schedule is recommended: 50 mg of the drug every day until the end of the course.
Clomifen Citrate 50 mg Anfarm Hellas is used as a PCT for 4-6 weeks. Higher doses (around 100 mg) are recommended at the beginning, then the dose is gradually reduced to 50 mg. The dosage should be selected individually, depending on the characteristics of the body and the evolution of the steroids.
Before use, a medical consultation is necessary. To evaluate the effectiveness of the drug, you must pass tests for testosterone.
